Pinnacle RXtreme P2 Pre Filter & Retainer

The Pinnacle RXtreme P2 Pre Filter & Retainer system is designed for use with compatible RXtreme respirator cartridges. The P2 pre-filter helps capture fine solid and liquid aerosols, dusts, mists and fumes before they reach the primary gas or vapour cartridge, while the retainer secures the pre-filter firmly onto the cartridge body.

The P2 pre-filter and retainer are sold separately but are designed to work together. The pre-filter is disposable and should be replaced when saturated or according to site safety procedures. The retainer is a reusable plastic component used to hold the pre-filter in position.

Attach the P2 pre-filter to the cartridge first, then align and secure the retainer so that incoming air passes through the pre-filter before reaching the main cartridge. Always select respiratory protection according to the specific workplace hazard, exposure level and applicable site safety requirements.
